From Coworkers to Creators: The Story Behind Pocono Florist
What began as a shared passion between coworkers blossomed into a friendship — and eventually, a bold new business venture.
Amy Wood has been a beloved figure in the Carbon County plant community for over five years, best known for her leadership in curating the annual Carbon County Plantfest. With over a decade of combined experience in horticulture and floral design, Amy has nurtured a long-held dream: opening a flower/plant shop of her own.
While working at a local flower shop, Amy crossed paths with Kelsey Adair — a kindred spirit with a love for both flowers and art. Their friendship quickly deepened, fueled by shared creativity and a mutual vision: to build something beautiful that merges floral design with artistic expression.
In the spring of 2025, that dream became a reality.
Pocono Florist was born — a space where blooms meet brushstrokes, rooted in community and grown from friendship.
We’re thrilled to share this journey with you and invite you to be part of it. Whether you’re looking for a bouquet, a plant, or a place to be inspired, our doors are open.
Welcome to Pocono Florist — where flowers and friendship grow.
